Textual analysis film



- From 10 seconds to 55 seconds there is non diegetic sound for example sound effects used to dramatise and narration of the characters.
- From 50 seconds to 1 min there is diegetic sound as the antagonist is talking directly to the camera in a deep manly voice. 
- From 1:10 to 1:15 there is non diegetic sounds of sound effects 
- At 1:15 to 1:29 there is diegetic sound of the man talking to two other characters. 
- At 1:36 there is bright visual effects of an explosion.
- Music has been playing in the background through out the entire trailer, using familiar music that is known to be Star Wars, this means more people will recognise the trailer if they see it and potentially could understand it more. The music suddenly just stops at the end of the trailer (around 2 mins) leaving a cliff hanger as you could thank that someone maybe died or the battle was over but you don't know who won. 
- The set throughout the trailer is very special effects heavy and includes high key and low key lighting 
- Explosion and fighting sounds are used which is seen when the physical battles between good and bad happens 

0:19- female non diegetic sound of a motherly figured women, questioning tone
0.23- young child like voice, non diegetic sound replying to the women in a tone implying they are lonely etc.

How do the key-elements used convey meaning in the main poster? Mise en scene is used in all different ways on the main poster. The main components of mine en scene that have been used are lighting,  composition, sets , props, actors, and costumes. H igh key lighting gives a friendly atmosphere at the centre of the poster and upwards.
